SHO
Wedding of Note!
On Saturday, October 22nd, 2005, Ben Bentley and Sharlene
Peterson were married in a beautiful ceremony in Mendota, Illinois.
Ben and Sharlene have been to several SHO Conventions so
many of you have met them. Take my word that a nicer couple of people
you could not ask to have as friends.
The wedding was a standing room only affair at the Zion
United Methodist Church and many SHO folk were in attendance from as far
away as Texas and Maryland.
Here are some pictures (click the thumbnails for a BIG
image) for your enjoyment:
Ben and Sharlene approach the moment of decision!
Grandpa
Don holds new granddaughter Elizabeth outside the church. Yea I know
it has nothing to do with the wedding but isn't my granddaughter
beautiful? (Grandad isn't biased much at all) :)
SHO
folk in disguise. Guess who these people are, to help you, imagine us
all with grease stained blue jeans, wrenches, and racing helmets!
For
the traditional drive around town, Ben and Sharlene were treated to a ride
in a V8 powered Jeepster (with GREAT exhaust tone) and a horn that played
neat songs from the grill.
The
SHO crowd surrounds the happy couple before heading out to the reception.
At the Reception, Ben and Sharlene perform their first shared kitchen
duties! And no, they did not smash the cake into each others face, a
minor let down for those of us looking for some excitement.
Best wishes to Ben and Sharlene and Brandon and
William. A great family if ever there was one!
