We have one of the cleanest original SHOs that I have seen. It has been originally maintained sparing no expense. We are the second owners and have all the books, keypad, even the orig window sticker. There are a very few small things such as the headliner is starting to fray right at the windshield (very minute), slow operation in two windows. The finish(no dents) is spectacularly bright and shiny. The leather is unblemished and intact as well as the carpet which is unfaded. New Goodyear Eagle GA tires. I have a 1995 Green SHO with ATX. Incredibly low mileage, 49,700. I would be willing to part with it for $5,250 (fairly firm). The car has been regularly serviced (when its been driven). New tires/exhaust/battery and it has a factory sunroof. The radio has been replaced, but it is still on-hand. It has never been involved in an accident. It does need a new antenna, and the front seats are slightly worn. I live in NE Ohio (Trumbull County). It has been stored in a garage when not driven. 95 MTX SHO for sale. Lots of miles, but still runs good, but with a few minor issues. Lots of paarts included. Lots of bolt-on modifications. Big 12 brakes. Double core HD radiator. Make-shift over-flow in place, but a ATX overflow and battery bracket will be included. Eibach springs and Tokico shocks. Strut tower braces with welded underbody reinforcements. Big anti-swaybars front and rear. Body OK. Very little rust. Only lower edge of the trunk and a 1 X 3/4 area behind the rear wheel. Many chips on the front now hidden buy a shrinking Colgan bra. Fog lights broken, but I have a new pair of PIAAs still in the box that I will include. Brakes are good, but I have a new pair of front rotors with Porterfield R4-S pads that will be included. Interior is good. Deluxe sheepskins now cover the front seats and are in good shape. With the covers, the leather still should be good underneath. Carpet is ok, but a little soiled. Driverside floor mat is trash, but the others are good. It has a 3 guage pillar set. Volts Temp Oil Pressure. It needs a new left rear muffler, but I have a new one to be included. Also included will be a new resonator pipe. Bad news, 301,xxx miles. Likely, it should get new rod bearings, if you want to drive it hardfs, but it still has good oil pressure. Uses very little oil, like the first quart doesnt have to be added until 1500 miles, but only because the cam seal is leaking behind the cam sensor, which I have and was never figured out how to replace. Clutch and T/O has only 30,000 miles, so it is good for a long time. Trans is good, but if you want to beat on it, I have a spare tranny that I will include. It only had 60000 when it was removed from a wreck. I have a lots parts that I would like to package with the Sho. Many new. Knock sensor. Temp sensor. Speed sensor. Oil level sensor. MAF sensor. Front and rear strut mounts. Lower control arms. Rear bushings. Etc. Many used, but good when removed. Used OEM struts, which are the only ones that will accept Koni inserts. 3 half-shafts (can not remember why I kept them, but likley they are still good). Included will be a full shim kit with the tools and a large assortment of shims. The only reason that I bought anothercar (a Turbo Legacy 5 speed) was the NVAC. The heater core is likely clogged. Anything below 20F and I would get cold. The A/C needs a shim removed, but the freon is still OK. 96 Chrome SHO wheels with good rubber is now on the car now, but will include a set of 95 OEM wheels with so-so rubber and a set of 89 basket weave with old Blizzaks, which might be good for one more really bad winter.

All original 1989 Ford Taurus SHO, with manual transmission, 143k miles, 220 HP V-6 Yamaha DOHC engine in great shape. Runs strong and smooth (and very fast). NM car--no rust. Not a project car. Driven by responsible middle-aged man. Amsoil used in crankcase and tranny has kept wear to a minimum (valve clearances are within .001” of factory settings). No noise from the tranny--all synchros are good. Clutch is latest concave style, replaced by dealer. Leather trimmed seats. Power seats, air-bladder lumbar and side bolsters. Paint is original and will polish up nicely (no clear coat). Interior like showroom. Factory JBL upgraded sound system w/Alpine CD/AM/FM. Owner upgrades include factory rod shift kit, 4 adjustable Koni struts, 1991 hub covers, full-size spare on matching alloy wheel, custom fabric mats, first aid kit, whip antenna, window tint, Dunlop Sport 5000 V-rated tires with good tread. I have a 1992 with a 5spd tranny all the normal bells and whistles…Just put $1000 into it between the new valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, brakes, cooling fan and tires…The bad, it will need a clutch soon, you can hear the throw-out bearing in between shifts and at the stop light…I would take $800 firm for it considering all the recent work. - mattmorley

I am the original owner of a 1989 SHO, Garage kept, body in excellent condition, needs 2 CVS joints, front crank seal, air condition compressor and o-rings for condenser line. Estimate from locaal Ford Dealer $2200. Tires are Cooper Cobra with very little milage. This is a project for somene who can do the work themself and then have a really good car that is fun to drive.
